“Do not be anxious, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving present, your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4: 6-7)”
I picked this verse because it means a lot to me. I can enjoy it daily or when something happens in life. We all have ups and downs in our life. Nothing is certain and a lot can happen. It’s always nice to know that we, as Christians, have Jesus to go to and talk to. It gives me peace in a sense — the peace transcends all understanding — and it may not make sense at the moment, but you just get this calm feeling in your heart that everything will be alright even if you can’t really see it.
